Radiology

Radiology is a frequently used diagnostic tool which provides our veterinarians with a two dimensional view of the internal body systems and the skeletal system.

We have a state of the art digital radiology machine, of which we are very proud. With digital X-ray, your pet should need less re-shoots of a radiograph, since the digital X-ray can be manipulated on the computer screen to darken/lighten/focus in/rotate the X-ray image. Another bonus is less irradiation of your pet and our staff! Also, radiographs can be sent via the internet to a board-certified radiologist for evaluation, if needed. Radiology reports are often received the same day! We are also able to save the radiographs to a CD should you wish to have your own copy.

In addition to digital radiology, we also have digital DENTAL radiology! Just like when you go to the dentist, we have the ability to take radiographs of the tooth and bone of the jaw. These radiographs help us to determine the overall health of the entire tooth and the best treatment plan for that tooth.
